This area is used for the myshopkart affiliate program which allows you to activate 2 banners in your store in order to promote the myshopkart platform. When someone clicks this referral link they are taken to our sales page. Any signups are tracked back to you and you get a 25% recurring commission (the other 25% goes to the supplier). So for example, if someone signs up for a 1 yr hosting plan you would get a 25% commission on that sale which would recur again on the 1yr rebill of the referred signup.

These sales are tracked in your commissions area where you can see any commissions you have earned. Each time a commission occurs you also get an email with all the details so you know in real time when any signups are generated. Each month at the beginning of the month we payout any owed commissions via paypal (if you have accumulated 50USD or more) and those orders are flagged as paid in your commissions area.

To activate the affiliate links in your site simply click the yes button below and then save - banners will appear in your side column and in your site footer which automatically use your affiliate link. These can be turned on and off whenever you wish. If you wish to place banners elsewhere you can do so by copying and pasting the banners displayed on your homepage into the page editor of your admin.

This affiliate program is completely voluntary - no banners will be displayed unless you activate this function. It is simply an option for you to make a little extra money from the traffic you get that may be potentially interested in opening their own webstore.
